Search for “where is hot in March” and you’ll mostly find holiday companies, each with a reason to say their destinations are sunny. We wanted plain numbers: how warm it actually is, how often it rains, how warm the sea is, and how far away it is.
So wherewarm is built from 15 years of daily weather data for 72 destinations popular from Ireland and the UK. Every figure and every sentence about the weather is calculated from that data. Here’s exactly how.

We don’t sell holidays and no airline, hotel or tour operator pays to be listed or ranked. Destinations are sorted only by the weather and the flying time.
How we make money
Right now we don’t. In future we may show adverts or add booking links that pay us a commission. If we do, they’ll be clearly labelled, they won’t change any ranking or number, and we’ll list them on this page.
